Site Overhaul Coming In Next Couple Weeks

I have rolled out the new template for The Phantom Writers website. Although not complete, this roll out is well under way. You should find navigation a bit different, but at the same time, very useful.
More changes will be coming, when I return from my trip to Florida on 11-9-09.
In the new format:
- The top bar has been cut in half.
- All navigation will move to the left.
- We are opening the bulk of the page to displaying content again, so that content can return to above the fold.
- We are revamping how people navigate the website.
- Two navigation options will be in place – one based on Who is looking, and one based on what you hope to find.
- A new CSS structure has been implemented in the sidebar, so that you can click on the topic, and the contents will open in the space below where you clicked. This enables you to only look at the links YOU want to look at.
- We will be dividing the sales pages into types of sales pages – info and actual purchases. The info pages will tell you why, and the actual purchase pages will be more well defined, with only what you need to make a purchase.
With this rebuild, I think we have finally conquered the biggest problem we have had for the last ten years – the ability to let our visitors get to where they want to go in only a couple clicks.
I am really looking forward to the new upgrades being rolled out. Unfortunately, my back is to the wall on time.
I will out of the office from Nov 2, 2009 to Nov 9, 2009. I will be on the road taking a friend from Oklahoma to Florida (Jacksonville area). I will spend a few days in Florida, then return the next weekend.
